FAB WOMEN: Rati Tehri Singh

One of the most talked about names in the beauty and makeup blogsphere. Founder of the biggest beauty and make-up blog in the country, Today we bring you someone most of you know and absolutely love – Presenting Rati Tehri Singh… Let’s not forget she owns probably the most enviable wardrobe. Read about how her glamorous journey in the world of beauty & cosmetics began….

Rati founded Indian Makeup and Beauty Blog along with her husband Sanjeev  in 2009 as just a makeup blog, (a.k.a. IMBB).  Today  “IMBB” is grown to be an international makeup, beauty and fashion community. Running three powerful blogs successfully in India, Dubai and Philippines- makeupandbeauty.com is already the biggest women’s blog on the internet with over 700 writers writing on it. Before the start of IMBB, Rati along with her husband, started TathaGat, India’s most prestigious B School test prep program with an annual turnover of 30 million. Totalgadha.com has been ranked by google as #1 in terms of hits per pay, attracting a total of 223,000 students per month. Rati tells us that her journey was not easy. She has had her set of ups and downs, but she says that’s what has made her who she is today. Despite of the  hardships and struggle, that came her way, she’s very thankful to have received unlimited love and uncountable goodness from people throughout. Today Rati has it all –  the biggest makeup and beauty blog in the country as well as her own lifestyle blog ‘Faux Pas’. Women all over the country are always reading through her blogs for advice, reviews and how-tos. She’s really a diva!

The journey: After her marriage with Sanjeev in 2009, Rati realised that her interest lies in doing makeup. That’s where her thirst to learn about makeup began. So she started doing her research online for videos/ tutorials on how to do makeup. She couldn’t find much material online for Indians. She realised there was a need. She wanted to help other women like her, who were looking to learn more about beauty and make-up products, beauty tips and tricks and so on. So she started a hobby makeup blog to share her love for beauty & cosmetics to the world and the rest as they say is history.

The FabBag Crew absolutely admires Rati and secretly wishes to live her life. Imagine living around thousands of pretty looking products, to-die for makeup and the most stylish wardrobe. Her walk-in closet is only what we call a dream. We caught up with Rati over tea and like always she was charming. Here are some snippets from our talk with her:
