Crabtree & Evelyn: Very British & very very good!

From a  home-run apothecary business to the luxury brand it is today – Crabtree & Evelyn is very British and very, very good!

Founded in 1972 by Cyrus Harvey and inspired by the quintessential English country garden, the early home apothecary and pioneering British explorers – Crabtree & Evelyn was among the first to offer products infused with natural fruit, flower and plant essences. Today it’s internationally known for original fragrances, luxurious bath and body products, gourmet foods and elegant gifts.

One of their best-selling lines have been their hand products – compact and easy-to-carry and very moisturising – they definitely do make the hands feel like butter! One of my favourite has been the Gardener’s Ultra-Moisturising Hand Therapy – I first fell in love with the name, and then the tube and finally am a complete fan of the product. Named for people who love the outdoors, or simply gals like us who tend to abuse their hands  – it works wonders!

Some of our favourite Crabtree & Evelyn products:

The great thing about Crabtree & Evelyn is that the products are formulated without mineral oil, parabens, phthalates or propylene glycol – great skin care!
